Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Set the direction and vision of the company in collaboration with the board of directors.
- Executive Decision Making: Make critical decisions regarding resource allocation, business development, and operational priorities.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and ensure profitability and sustainability.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the company and its stakeholders.
- Organizational Culture and Talent Management: Shape the company's culture, attract top talent, and develop leadership capabilities.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to minimize their impact on the business.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the company functions efficiently and effectively.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Communication and Representation: Represent the company to external stakeholders.
- Crisis Management: Provide strong leadership in times of crisis or unforeseen challenges.
Immediate Expectations:- Develop 5-year strategies and annual operational plans, delivering on sales growth targets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Sub Saharan and South African markets.
- Oversee branch and manufacturing operations, ensuring legal compliance.
- Focus on business development, building customer relationships, and resolving issues.
- Drive revenue growth and net margins.
- Ensure compliance with local and corporate legal and statutory requirements.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within a sales-focused organization.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Strong understanding of the Sub Saharan and South African markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within and outside of the region.
- Knowledge of US market is highly beneficial
