My client, a well established generator manufacturer and maintenance business, is looking for an experienced generator deployer. The Generator deployer technicians will involve the towing. deploying, refuelling, and recovering of mobile units. Actual and potential generator nonconformities are dealt with and that corrective and preventative actions are taken to report to management. You will need to have code 8 license, PDP with dangerous good license. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ABOVE KEY ELEMENTS REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATING AND MAINTAINING BOILERS The Generator Field Technician's role will involve the Towing, Deployment, Refuelling and Recovery of Mobile Generator Units. Refuelling of Static Generators. Performing basic Power checks and facilitate manual changeover between Eskom and Generator supply. Maintaining the general condition and cleanliness of Generators, Bowsers, and all Company Assets. Understand electrical and mechanicals of a generator Perform Quality measures and Audits. Oversea and Identify the possible risks that may affect H&S, workflow, quality, performance, etc., and must report all risks identified on time in the proper means of communication to urgency. Plan generator repairs. Will be expected to travel and perform tasks in different regions from time to time. Weekly generator Inspections on Site The Applicant must meet the following requirements: Result Orientation Initiative/Proactively Pays attention to detail Stress tolerance Passionate Decisiveness Flexibility Team Performance Driven Customer/Client Focus Quick Reaction Self-Driven Grade 12 Minimum requirement Trade Test- Mechanical will be beneficial but not required Valid Code 08 EB/EC or EC1 Driver's License Dangerous Goods Driving Permit PDP Permit Knowledge of generator maintenance and operation in the service management industry Knowledge and/or experience in the generator dispatching and deploying industry. Rigging up to R18k Over time
