Christian Art Distributors currently has a vacancy for a Graphic Designer , to be based fulltime at our Head Office in Vereeniging (Vaal Triangle) , within the Wholesale and Retail sector. As a Graphic designer, you will be expected to be a team player and collaborate with other creatives, creating visuals that effectively communicate our company's mission. This role demands a blend of creativity, attention to detail, technical proficiency in design software. Experience in graphic design, product photography, typesetting and layout design are essential to this vacant position. Responsibilities Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure Have a dynamic, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design and aesthetic Experience in typesetting, typography and layout design Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative designs Experience with photography equipment and editing software Excellent time management and organisational skills Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines Work independently as well as cooperatively within the creative team Qualifications Must have a BA degree (or equivalent) in Graphic design, art, or related discipline Experience 3 years of experience Key Competencies Proficient in the Adobe suite with a focus on Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign A passion for creating inspirational content and designs across a variety of print and digital format Must have a keen eye for detail Stays current with design trends Self-starter that takes ownership of a project from start to finish and ensure all designs are created in a timely manner Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to effectively interact in a team environment is important Fully computer literate in Mac OS and Windows Strong portfolio that aligns with the aesthetics and values of the company
