Our Client in the logistics Industry is looking for a Group Financial Accounts on a TEMP basis ( BE AVAILABLE TO START NOW) - Must have strong financial reporting • Functional experience in a multi-currency accounting software, • Prepare and submit a group reporting package for consolidation by the group head office team, including management accounts containing income statement, balance sheet, cashflow and IFRS disclosure schedules. • Monthly expense analysis, including budget and prior month variance reporting. • Intercompany transaction management, including maintaining and issuing intercompany schedules, matching and elimination, and reporting. • Support to group treasury by maintaining intercompany loan schedules, and assisting in group cashflow management. • VAT Returns / reconciliations including return submission, and income tax return preparation and submission. • Maintain and update fixed asset register. • Assist with external annual audits. • Ensure that all reports, figures, and postings are accurate and free of error. • Adhere to all deadlines. Network of interaction Comprising but not limited to the following: • Internal - Regional Finance and Local Finance - Senior Management Team A bachelor's degree in commerce / finance / business administration. Additional professional • Minimum 4 years post qualification experience in the finance field • Sound knowledge of accounting & finance fundamentals and principles. • Responsible, independent, good attention to detail • High level of integrity and dependability, able to handle company information with confidentiality • A sense of urgency and results orientation and a strong willingness to learn • Excellent team player and leader who is energetic, work well under pressure • Good verbal and written communication skills in English • Demonstrated expertise with MS Office (Excel Pivot, VLOOKUP, and conditional formulae, Word and PowerPoint) Highy Negotiable
