Reference: NWI001786-HSM-1 Divisional Head of Retail Banking opportunity Are you an experienced banking professional with a knack for retail strategy and market penetration? My client is seeking a Divisional Head of Retail Banking to lead their entry into the Namibian market, driving growth and overseeing retail business operations. Job Summary: As the Divisional Head of Retail Banking reporting to the Managing Director, you'll play a pivotal role in managing retail business within the Namibian market. Your primary responsibility will be to provide overall direction and supervision of the Group's strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Formulate and review short, medium, and long-term strategies for Retail Banking in line with the Bank's group plan Set targets for Retail Banking bank-wide by products, regions, and branches Develop and implement strategies for Retail Banking, including marketing and sales strategies, product development, and customer relationship management Coordinate with Commercial Banking and Institutional Banking divisions to develop and maintain customer relationships Supervise business plans and activities of Products Heads and their teams to achieve divisional targets Foster efficient collaboration with other divisions for smooth workflow and effective collaboration Develop a customer management framework based on customer insights and market analysis Monitor and report on the performance of all retail product offerings bank-wide Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 14 years' experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a management role in Retail Banking A good first degree in any discipline, with a relevant Master's degree considered an advantage A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage Excellent customer relationship development and management skills Strong strategic orientation and advanced selling skills Knowledge and understanding of the Namibian retail market and banking operations Familiarity with domestic and international banking operations, products, and industry analysis How to Apply: If you meet the above requirements, please send your resume DIRECTLY to: helsmithnetworkfinance.co.za For more finance jobs, please visit our website: www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com If there is no reply within two weeks, please assume that your application for the vacancy was unsuccessful.
