HR Assistant Manager (JB4364) Sandton Central, Johannesburg R35 000 - R45 000 CTC per month Medical Aid, Pension, Group Risk, Performance-based bonus Permanent An international company is seeking a skilled and experienced HR Assistant Manager. As an integral part of our HR & payroll department, you will play a vital role in supporting various functions, ranging from administrative tasks to fostering smooth communication between HR and employees. Minimum Requirements: Completed degree in HR or a related field. 3 or more years of experience as an HR Assistant Manager or HR Generalist. Previous payroll experience. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Hands-on experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) or HR Management Systems (HRMS). Familiarity with labour laws and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day operations of HR functions, providing crucial support to the team. Offer clerical and administrative assistance to Human Resources & Corporate Administration Management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both in physical and digital formats. Process documentation and generate reports related to personnel activities such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Coordinate various HR projects, including meetings, training sessions, and surveys, while ensuring accurate minute-taking. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and regulations. Support in payroll preparation by furnishing pertinent data to our outsourced payroll service provider. Handle complaints and grievance procedures efficiently and with discretion. Facilitate communication with candidates and schedule interview appointments. Conduct initial orientations for newly hired employees. Provide assistance and support in Corporate Administration duties and functions.
