An HR Officer must have superb communication and administration skills. The HR Officer will act as the first port of call to employees for all payroll related queries on Payspace Payroll. The ideal candidate must have current or previous experience in the payroll department, preferably on Payspace. As a priority, HR Officer will handle most of the employee documentation, including company organograms and payroll documentation, time and attendance records as well as third party documentation. Key Performance Areas: HR process flow custodian and maintain personnel records hard copy/ electronic filing system (NDA, Restraint of Trade, EEA1 etc). the HR department with training database and filing of training records for SDL & EE submission (BBBEE purposes). Assist the IR Officer with documents and information required as and when needed. Create regular HR reports if and when requested. Manage leave queries from employees and managers. Filing, scanning, and uploading of employee files. Filing of HR documents (payroll & BBEEE). Recommend changes to filing systems and procedures to improve the efficiency of the HR/filing system. Capture and keep accurate employee data in the HR system and perform general HR administration duties – adhere to POPI regulations. Assist in the implementation of both the Skills Development and Employment Equity, strategic plan. DOL inspections (gathering of relevant information). Updating time and attendance on PRP system for Overtime tracking. Monthly Payments to suppliers & consultants and ensuring payments are processed. Updating Company Organogram quarterly. Company coupon administration and recons. Monthly HR Batch Payments- recon and submissions. Medical Aid Management – Removal and additions of Employees/ Recons & Payments. Momentum management – Removal and additions of Employees/ Recons & Payments. Union management – Removal and additions of Employees/ Recons & Payments. • Any additional duties, as delegated and required, from time to time. • Payroll Submission. Responsibilities: Ensure that employee records hard copy/ electronic filing system (NDA, Restraint of Trade, EEA1 etc) are maintained. Assist the HR department with training database and filing of training records for SDL & EE submission (BBBEE purposes). Ensure all leave queries from employees and managers are managed in a timely manner. Ensure all HR filing, scanning, and uploading of employee files is done in a timely manner. Ensure all filing of HR documents (payroll & BBEEE) is done in a timely manner. Ensure all accurate employee data is captured in the HR system as well as perform general HR administration duties – adhere to POPI regulations. Ensure DOL inspections are carried out (gathering of relevant information). Ensure all updates with regards to time and attendance are done correctly on PRP system for overtime tracking in a timely manner. Ensure all monthly payments to suppliers and consultants are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Ensure that the Company Organogram is updated quarterly. Ensure that the Company coupon administration and recons are done in a timely manner. Ensure all monthly HR Batch Payments (recon and submissions) are done correctly and in a timely manner. Ensure all employees are added and removed from the medical aid as and when needed and that monthly recons and payments are done in a timely manner. Ensure all employees are added and removed from Momentum as and when needed and that monthly recons and payments are done in timely manner. Ensure that all employees who belong to Momentum have a beneficiary's form on file. Ensure all employees are added and removed from the union as and when needed and that monthly recons and payments are done in a timely manner. • Any additional duties, as delegated and required, from time to time. Ensure that all payroll documents are submitted correctly and in a timely manner. 3 Years Experience in a related HR Field Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Own Transport R20 000 - R25 000 Apply Now
