Our client in the Agricultural Industry requires the service of a self-motivated, service orientated and well-organized HR Practitioner, who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Human Resources Processes/Systems in the company. Key performance areas: Assist the Business unit's HR manager with relevant compliance and legislative requirements and audit processes HR data analysis and reporting for the site and at relevant forums. Consult and work in partnership with Managers and employees to influence their thinking and drive the achievement of people management strategies. Be accountable for the effective implementation of all HR policies and procedures at the operational unit. Manage industrial relations, disciplinary, incapacity and grievance policies and procedures (within a unionized environment) Implement relevant training and development initiatives Represent the operational unit at the CCMA, up to arbitration, when required Recruitment, selection and on boarding of employees The successful candidate must have: Matric with a Human Resources Degree or related qualification 3 - 5 years' experience within an unionized operational/production environment Strong working knowledge of labour legislation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to produce detailed orientated work of high quality and accuracy Able to maintain confidentiality for sensitive Human Resources issues or projects and use judgement and decision-making to execute duties and responsibilities Analytical problem-solving approach Intermediate computer skills including a proficiency on Microsoft Office Results driven and a pro-active approach.
