CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The core purpose of the post is to provide strategic leadership in the implement of the Health, Safety and Environmental management strategy at Nelson Mandela University to ensure that there is a high level of compliance towards SHE legislations and other relevant requirements.

Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory HSE Policies and Acts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant M+3 qualifications - B degree or National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Science/Management or any related field; and
• 3-5 Years relevant management experience
• SAMTRAC and NEBOSH would be an added advantage
• SAIOSH and HPCSA Registrations
