Our meters are installed in various types of facilities, including commercial properties, industrial complexes, private residences, resorts, BnB's, apartment blocks, and shopping centers. With thousands of meters installed across South Africa and internationally, we help property owners effectively manage utility consumption. With its head office base in La Lucia, Durban, Recharger provides support to its national client base from its central office, country wide. A post is available for a HR Officer with suitable skills and experience in the role at the head office. This is an on-site role for a Human Resources Officer located in Durban at the Recharger Head Office. The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including HR management, developing HR policies, managing employee relations, and developing job descriptions. The officer will play a crucial role in ensuring effective human resources practices and supporting the overall success of the organization. An important aspect of the HR Officer role is recruitment and finding suitable candidates for positions that suit the needs of the role specifically. Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in HR management, HR policies, and human resources practices Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution Experience in developing and evaluating job descriptions Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Detail-oriented and organized Knowledge of labor laws and regulations Experience in recruiting and onboarding processes Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Commensurate with Experience.
