The primary objective of this position is to design, implement, and oversee a robust and efficient Content Management System (CMS) network security infrastructure, ensuring the protection of data, resources and systems. The Information Security Specialist will be required to execute the following duties and responsibilities, but not limited to the below. Designing, deploying and maintaining effective security measures to protect against breaches, viruses, and spyware. Upgrading and fortifying systems by implementing and managing security controls. Defining access privileges, control structures, and resources to ensure system protection. Developing and executing standardized Information Security processes and procedures. Timely response to internal and external audit findings to maintain compliance and security. Managing group policies to maintain consistent security standards across the organization. Overseeing endpoint protection systems, including Antivirus Software, ensuring proper configuration and management. Responsible for guarantee compliance of Information Systems with IT policies and processes. Adhering to industry standards, such as ISO 27000-27004, to uphold system security and data protection. Coordinating with all departments and IT users to address IT security issues and ensure compliance. Conducting IT risk assessments to identify, analyse, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities and threats. Supporting Penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to evaluate and enhance security measures. Researching, planning and executing information security solutions to meet business needs. Proactively monitoring, investigating and reporting on security incidents, Internet usage, and policy breaches to maintain a secure IT environment. 5 years' experience in IT governance and security National Diploma in Information Technology or relevant equivalent qualification ITIL foundation, Security, CISM, SCCM or COBIT Certification Knowledge of Patch Management or Anti-virus or Vulnerability management Knowledge of Group Policy Management and Firewalls (Checkpoint, Sophos) Knowledge of Mimecast Knowledge of Manage Engine Products (Desktop Central, Log 360, Ops Manager) Knowledge of Azure Active Directory Knowledge of Cloud Security Proficiency in TCP/IP/Routers/Switches/Firewalls Conducting ICT (Data) Backup and Restore Server operating systems and security
