A position has just become available for an Intern Travel Consultant at our dynamic company. ​​​​​ Deliver excellent customer service and able to do pricing. Booking Flights, Accommodation, shuttle services, car hire, travel insurance and reservations for customers. Engage with business and leisure clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budgetary requirements. Provide information on (but not limited to) travel, facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routs and transportation schedules. High attention to detail in all areas of your role. Provide excellent customer service throughout the booking process, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally. Deal with complaints and refunds and work alongside the Manager to resolve them. Prepare detailed itineraries, travel documents, and other relevant information for clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during travel, offering solutions and support to ensure a seamless experience for clients. Respectful to clients, colleagues and suppliers as well. Attention to detail, able to work independently and under pressure. Able to resolve urgent matters and offer alternative solutions. Assist clients with visa application. Liaise with Finance regarding payments and balances due. Trustworthy, discrete, and sensitive to clients' needs at all times. Build a good relationship with the suppliers and your customers. Counsel clients on terms and conditions of travel e.g cancelation policies, insurance and general advice Provide travel tips on currency, language, safety, health etc. Must be able to work after hours and be on standby 2 weeks per month on a rotation basis. Proficiency in Amadeus will be advantageous. Good communication skills and Team player. Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations worldwide. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software. Attention to detail and accuracy in itinerary planning and documentation. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask within a high-pressure environment. Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative within the constraints of the business to provide solutions to customers unassisted and work autonomously. Strong sense of urgency. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and travel requirements. Passion for travel and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Impeccable attention to detail. Fully bilingual-English (Read, Write and Speak) Minimum of at least 1 year experience within Travel industry will be an advantage. Education: ● Diploma in Travel & Tourism ● A bachelor's degree will be an advantage, Relevant experience and skills may be considered in place of formal education. Certifications: ● Certification from a recognized travel or tourism organization is a plus Market-Related Apply Now
