We are a private company, which owns several established SPAR/SUPERSPAR and TOPS outlets in the KwaZulu-Natal. We are expanding our business and have a need for enthusiastic people to support this growth. This includes an IT Support position based at our head office in Mount Edgecombe that will require someone to travel to the stores when necessary. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to grow within the organisation. The main function of this position will be performing software & hardware support of the stores and head office. Maintaining the sigma system and IT infrastructure of the stores and head office and creating accurate reports for management. He/she will report to the group directors and their line manager. Software Support Store visits. Implementing systems processes and procedures. Remote desktop support when required. Maintaining SIGMA system product listing, pricing, and recipes. Processing price changes and promotion request. Processing and analysing updates from SPAR. Generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management. Printing and distributing these reports. Participating in stock takes, ensuring that IT processes are being carried out. Management of work carried out by 3 rd party suppliers. Training staff on SIGMA, processes, and procedures when opening new stores. Hardware Support Store Visits. Maintaining the IT infrastructure of the stores and head office. Managing IT related suppliers when opening new stores. General IT hardware support. I.T Diploma or CompTIA A. Matric. Retail Experience preferably in s SPAR environment with exposure to its SIGMA system. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, more especially in excel. Quick Learner. An approach which focuses on getting the work done correctly. Willingness to learn. An ability to independently complete assigned tasks within identified time frames. Market Related
