Responsibilities
- Receive and ensure all email and verbal faults are logged on the ticket system.
- All tickets acted on promptly and closed within SLA requirements.
- Effectively provide onsite and remote assistance, to both guests and staff, during and after normal office hours.
- Escalate calls if necessary.
- Basic training and best practice guidelines to guide both guests and staff.
- Perform daily tasks to ensure maximum uptime between properties and devices.
- Provide support on all Windows and Mac desktop platforms.
- Provide basic server support and user management.
- Provide advanced support on:
- Backups
- File Sharing
- MFP Printers
- CCTV and Access Control
- VOIP Systems
- E-Mail
- Antivirus
- DSTV and Room Technology
- Wi-Fi Connectivity
- Setup phones, tablets, and other BYOD devices.
- Report any security concerns or potential risks.
- Plan and manage all upgrades.
- Stock management and Asset Registers.
- Participation in projects, and meeting deadlines.
- Effective Administration.
Qualifications And Experience
- Grade 12
- A+ Certification
- N+ Certification
- 3 years PC support environment
- Experience with Firewalls (Beneficial)
- Experience with Servers (Beneficial)
- Experience with Networking (Beneficial)
- Must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle (Non-negotiable)
