Job title: Jnr Financial Data Analyst

Our client, based in Hermanus, is looking to hire a Jnr Financial Data Analyst to join their team as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Analysis

• Assist with client portfolio analysis
• Assist with implementation of trade decisions
• Assist with portfolio rebalancing
• Calculate returns on client portfolios
• Prepare quarterly factsheets
• Build and maintain financial models to analyse client portfolios

Systems

• Assist with the implementation of CRM system and maintain user access and capabilities
• Assist with data verification in IRESS
• Maintain IRESS to do list and minute meetings with IRESS implementations team
• Update client records in IRESS and help maintain CRM system
• Assist with extracting and managing data from custodians
• Assist with the design and implementation of internal data flows
• Assist with the automation of repetitive tasks utilising MS Office suite

Clients

• Prepare and distribute quarterly reports for clients
• Assist with all client queries
• Assist with creating proposals for new and existing clients
• Assist with opening new client accounts and handle all client related administration
• Prepare and distribute annual tax packs and related queries
• Assist with sponsorship events i.e. presentations etc.
• Assist with client fee calculation and commission distribution
• Maintain an office to do list and keep it up to date daily
• Manage process of client withdrawal requests
• Manage monthly income payments
• Document preparation for meetings
• Assist with new projects and terms of business
• Assist with developing presentations for marketing events

Requirements (Qualification and Skill)

• Preferably BComm in Finance or Bsc in Computer Science
• Financial Modelling experience
• Advance Excel including VBA preferred
• IRESS and Xplan (preferred but not essential)
• MS Power BI
• Interest in Financial Markets

This position is full time, in office, Monday-Friday.

Starting date: As soon as possible

Location: Hermanus.

Salary: R20 000-R30 000 depending on experience
