Junior Banking Processor We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Junior Banking Processor. The primary responsibility of this role will be to accurately process banking transactions and reconciliations in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members. Key Responsibilities as a Junior Banking Processor: - Reconciling banking transactions in Xero; - Preparation of bank reconciliations in excel; - Collaborating with team members to improve banking processes; - Upload bank imports for approvals; - Petty cash journal preparations; - Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Qualifications: - Matric certificate, and/or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent. - Previous experience in banking processing preferred, however training will be provided. - Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures. - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, i.e. Xero. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
