Reference: PE000952-M -1 Our client is seeking a Junior Litigation Secretary to join their team. Requirement: Matric. Relevant tertiary qualification preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in a litigation practice. (not negotiable). Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with legal software advantageous. Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation. (not negotiable). Being able to speak multiple languages advantageous Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to attorneys in the litigation department, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings. Draft and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence. File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements. Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials, including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics. Conduct legal research using various resources, including online databases and library materials. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility. Assist with billing and time entry tasks as needed. Salary: Market-related
