Junior Mechanical Draughtsman - Pretoria
Requirements:
- Draughting Diploma /Certificate in SolidWorks.
- Sheetmetal/ Laser cutting experience.
- 2 years Mechanical design/draughting engineering experience (2 Years +).
- 2 years 3D CAD experience on Solidworks.
- Automation industry advantageous.
- Create accurate, readable technical drawings as per designs.
- Compile drawing project plan, naming conventions and number generation.
- Generate 3D parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
- Generate detail drawings (project planning; parts; sub-assemblies; assemblies; revisions and redesigns).
- Has proficient knowledge of working with sheet metal and weldment.
- Ensure conversions of different file formats to complete drawings
- Implement revisions and redesigns on all relevant drawings.
- Create, import, and ensure that correct templates are used at all times (Internal/External)
- Ensure that a fast and accurate bill of materials is generated.
- Ensure accurate dimensioning and detailing of drawings.
- Attend site visits as and when required for:
- Site establishment for 3D modelling.
- To verify discrepancies on existing drawings.
- Red lining issue for construction.
- Assist internal departments as and when required (marketing; production; manufacturing; R&D).
