Junior Restaurant Manager - Cape Winelands

Candidate Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Home language must be Afrikaans (essential)
  • Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • 1-2 years previous restaurant experience at a supervisor level or similar role in the hospitality industry at a similar establishment (5*or similar)
  • Must be comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
  • Have good knowledge of food and beverages
  • WSET or similar wine knowledge certificate course (advantage)
  • Great team management & training abilities
  • Must be well-presented and have a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to learn details quickly (menus/wine list etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and accountable
