Where you'll work An innovative organisation that was set up to support the use of technology in education and pursue outcomes-based interventions using data to drive decisions and impact. The foundation's founding premise is that technology can shift the education paradigm in an efficient, cost-effective, and scalable manner. They deploy online English and numeracy literacy programmes in underprivileged primary schools across South Africa. These programmes offer young learners the opportunity to work at their own pace through fun and enjoyable activities while navigating their learning journey using technology. This organisation addresses the literacy crisis and equips young learners with the technological skills required for future success. How you'll role As a Growth Lead ("GL") you will be responsible for expanding impact within a certain region. This includes launching programmes in new schools and launching additional labs in active schools. The GL will be responsible for ensuring that the region's development plans are implemented in accordance with growth processes and within the timeframes specified. The GL will be in charge of actively building their respective pipelines in each region by helping schools to achieve the intervention's eligibility requirements. This will necessitate regular visits to all pipeline schools. The Head of Growth will assess the effectiveness of new school deployments by reviewing success metrics (such as usage) one month post launch. What you'll do Develop a pipeline of new schools that fit the company's criteria Implement guidance and support for launching new schools Manage projects effectively Deliver regional-specific quarterly growth plans Work closely with service providers and oversee work done in launching new labs Collect project documentation and implementation data accurately, and report on project statuses Present to Principals and HODs Be responsible for district collaboration with e-learning stakeholders Work closely with the Training Coordinator (TC) to ensure growth plans are met There are skills needed by the organisation that may be identified above and beyond what the role requires. These may be assigned to you as part of your role. Key performance indicators: The Growth Manager will conduct monthly KPI sessions. The following metrics will be assessed Schools launched in accordance with growth plans Post-launch school performance Accurate collection and storage of documents and data School pipeline development Principal presentations delivered Meetings with educational districts What you'll need Minimum qualification: Matric certificate A valid driver's licence and own transport At least 4 years of work experience Strong project management and people skills Strong organisational, logistical, and planning skills Experience in the public education sector will be advantageous Financial literacy To be proficient in G-Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Salary R25,000 - R28,000 per month (negotiable based on experience) 5% pension fund contribution (employer) Death and disability funds (employer) LTE data for work Annual leave: 20 days Apply Now
