To provide clients with professional telephonic advice and assistance. Must be able to advise policy-holders on general matters including civil, criminal and labour related matters in a call centre environment. Efficient administration of Criminal , Civil and Labour claims according to prescribed procedures; Be able to appoint attorneys and make regular follow ups regarding progress of the claims and to ensure that same is being attended to diligently; The ability to prioritise and work under pressure; Ability to work independently whilst providing quality service to covered clients; Ensure that all communication (written and oral) with clients and attorneys are of a professional standard; Provide recommendation to management on speedy and efficient finalisation of claims; Mitigate business risk in claim handling; Provide guidance to legal advisors and paralegals on claim handling; and To ensure that overall performance and quality is in line with Company standards and Policy Protection Rules (PPR) regulations. Candidate must have strong customer centric values and critical thinking/problem solving skills; Must be an admitted attorney; Previous practical experience in a law firm is essential; Sound legal knowledge and legal problem solving skills; and Proven track record of drafting pleadings and legal representation at Magistrate Court and CCMA is essential. Good telephone manner/soft skills; Be able to work independently; Effective time management; Be able to work under pressure; Strong written and verbal communication skills; High ethical standards; Sound knowledge of the law in general and the interpretation thereof; and Customer service orientated environmen.
