Level-2 Engineer (Networking and Server) - - Johannesburg

Grade 12 and a BSc/BEng in Computer Science/Information Technology.
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in networking and server administration in an IT managed services or consulting environment.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge and experience in networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation and task simplification.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.
Previous experience in a managed services provider (MSP) or IT consulting firm.
Proficient in server administration, including but not limited to Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
Familiarity with storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and RAID configurations.
Experience with network security concepts, firewall management, and VPN technologies.
