Logistics Coordinator - - Durbanville

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom or equivalent) preferably in Logistics
3 years experience in a similar position, preferably with perishables/fruit
Experience with a pallet management system such as Paltrack will be an advantage
Knowledge of fruit export documentation will be advantageous
Computer literate - Word, Excel
Work overtime as needed

Duties:

Daily logistical planning of cold store dispatch activities (container bookings; Q67; loading instructions and daily planning) and the flow of information to all the relevant stakeholders
Allocation of daily timeslots for all pallet dispatches into containers or trucks
Preparation of documentation for dispatches and fruit inspections
Managing risks regarding logistical activities
Liaising with clients on a regular basis
Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
