We're seeking a motivated individual to drive excellence in our operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Safety Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage emergency response programs Manage emergency response program, stay updated on ISO requirements, and plan safety events Drive safety consciousness, monitor working conditions, and oversee compliance audits Maintain emergency response program, draft reports, and provide input for legislative reporting Stay informed on environmental management systems, contribute to environmental policy, and analyze risks Monitors the wearing of PPE and manage training programs to increase safety proficiency Plans for safety events and campaigns Health Participate in accident investigations, manage safety training programs, and implement corrective actions Investigate environmental incidents, gather metrics, and monitor outcomes of impact plans Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to enhance safety and environmental performance Reports on SHE incidents, issues and problems Environment Provide input on environmental service contracts, monitor environmental management system, and maintain registers Monitoring the impact of awareness programs Analyze environmental performance data, compile reports, and provide input for legislative reporting Coordinate waste management, conduct environmental audits, and educate staff on environmental initiatives Suggest improvements to the environmental system Quality Lead quality assurance audits and drive continuous improvement initiative Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain environmental management systems Collaborate on quality assurance audits, analyze metrics, and monitor action plans Conduct quality audits, monitor critical control points, and maintain quality control equipment Monitoring quality systems and managing quality risks Implementing plans to address non-deviations QUALIFICATIONS : Post Graduate Diploma/Honours Degrees or B.Tech in Engineering/Health, Safety & Environment management Total Quality Management Post Graduate Diploma 3 years Functional Experience, including 2 years in a Supervisory role Proven track record in integrated SHEQ environments Experience in large warehousing environment Experience in a manufacturing/large equipment environment KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS : Essential certifications including SAMTRAC, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, Incident investigation L3, OHSA Legal Compliance L5, Occupational Health & Safety Act L5, Legal Liability (OHSA) L3., Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment L3 and First Aid L2.
