Marketing and Sales Director - Out of South Africa You will be responsible for: Research and contacting your defined and the company's target market Setting the Marketing AND Sales strategy Creating proposals for clients Managing sales and targets Determining the metrics and running dashboards with the team to ensure you meeting the targets through the metrics Manage a small marketing team Engage with clients Research ideas for strategic alliance opportunities for the group Identify and refine the delivery channels for all internal and external marketing (email, printed collateral for distribution, intranet, events, social media, websites, and internal campaigns) Monitoring trends and best practice to deliver innovative and exciting solutions that meet changing business requirements Tracking and updating spend against budget Maintaining a constructive, collaborative, and consultative approach to relationships with service providers, colleagues and internal clients Development of marketing strategies both paid & organic Ability to analyse and understand the effectiveness of digital campaigns Development of Brand Strategy and identity positioning Development of Social Media campaigns & management – both paid & organic Content production & design Management of Influencer campaigns Ability to be nimble and frugal ensuring that small amounts of spend go a long way Cold call the businesses found either on the phone or by showing up at their door Meeting with the decision makers to close the deal Follow up on previous clients for assistance, changes Cross sell on different product ranges Meet with the team to give them feedback about the market Rock the targets To do it well, you will need: Currently living in South Africa – with a working home office Experience in Marketing AND Sales (MUST) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience of early stage businesses. Experience in building and/or managing marketing and sales teams. Able to work full time Completed Matric with a post matric qualification in Sales / Marketing (advantage) Own vehicle with a driver's license Must enjoy selling and cold calling Crushing targets is what you do Love to work with growing companies High detail on following up Monthly Salary: Market related
