Overview:
Our client is a leading global provider of smart energy solutions.
They're looking for a Marketing Assistant to assist the marketing department with its initiatives and campaigns. Day to day, you will help to create and/or co-ordinate content, track results, build relationships with our sales team, and otherwise support the implementation of all marketing strategies.
Reponsibilities:
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing and tracking of marketing programs.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, including copy, posts, scheduling, testing and database management.
- Monitor and report on email, digital, social media and content marketing campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, photography, copywriting, and marketing.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and maintaining marketing materials inventory.
- Provide administrative support to coordinate and organize market research.
- Schedule and arrange meetings and travel itineraries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma: Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field.
- Driver's license
- Vehicle Required
- Proven experience as a marketing assistant
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) a plus
- Digital photography and video editing experience is a plus.
