Reference: PC001633-DH-1 Our client is currently seeking a dedicated, reliable and hands-on Mechanical Assistant at their mechanical workshop in Joostenbergvlakte, Kraaifontein, Cape Town to assist with vehicle, truck and farm equipment repairs, as well as general duties in the workshop. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and operation of vehicles, trucks and equipment. EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Mechanical and Transport BASIC SALARY : Market Related START DATE : Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Intelligent and quick to learn Proficient in working with hands Mechanical experience Own transport Must reside in the northern suburbs of Cape Town (Kuilsriver, Brackenfell, Durbanville, etc.) Must have own toolbox. DUTIES: Assisting with vehicle repairs, specifically trucks, including maintenance and troubleshooting. Undertaking general duties in the workshop, such as cleaning, and assisting other workers. Following instructions from supervisors and working collaboratively with team members.
