One of our Clients, a big hospital in San Diego, USA is looking for 6 to 7 medical receptionist to work from home in their Contact Center. The shift we need to staff with South African agents is 5:45am to 1:15pm (which would be the graveyard shift in California). The work is easy and slow during this time, and there will be roughly around 6-12 calls during that shift. The work consists of the following: People call in for the physician on call – 40% (ortho, neuro, cardiology etc.) After hours clinic calls about 25% of calls. People calling in to speak to the Physician on call (e.g. foot surgery in extreme pain needs to talk to the ortho on call) Babies born during the night need to be registered for physician calls the next day Transfers roughly 10% of calls Agents also do alerts for teletracking notifications e.g. fridge is out of range medications might be at risk Notifications that happen at sites e.g. global notifications – pages all staff about power outages and provides updates We are looking for 6-7 agents in South Africa who want to work a combination of full time M,T,W,Th,F,Sat and Sun and some who want to be on call and available to pick up shifts. This is a permanent position as a contractor with no benefits. REQUIREMENTS: Must have reliable internet (backup generator etc.) to fulfill this position Need to have a medical background such as medical assistant/nurse/medical receptionist etc. PACKAGE OFFERED: We would be negotiable for pay but around R150,000 – R200,000 per year (R12,500 –R16,666 per month) depending on experience.
