Formulation of practical and deliverable medium-term rolling plans (3-12 months) by optimising dumping locations, hauling distances and creating a clear view of material movement. Reconcile the actual vs planned quantities for mining activities Quantify and reconcile dumping space Conduct optimisation studies to drive productivity and effectiveness of the mining operations Update current dumping locations Assist the MRM to produce yearly budget plans Produce a detailed 4-month rolling plan once a month Guide short term planning to adhere to compliance to plan. Update the Mine works program Design roads and access strategies to optimise long term strategies. All plans must incorporate a dumping strategy for each material type Plan and indicate infrastructure requirements, including power lines, permits requirements, access and hauling roads to mining areas for each plan. Attend the weekly and monthly planning meeting to give feedback on compliance with plan. Export planned blocks and hand them over to short term planners to create synergies Update and earmark the material flow for future shipments Reconcile current data with planned data for the last 6-months and update planning parameters for future planning. Reconcile actual vs charged volumes between bi-annual LiDAR surveys and report formally to MRM Develop, revise, and refine all COP's (Code of Practice) & SOP's (Standard operating procedure) and supply the documents to the MRM for revision Create, maintain and validate all data generated on each KMR project in a practical and accessible database Edcuation & Experience Requirements: B,Sc Mining Engineering 5 years relevant experience Skills & Knowledge: Modelling software Analytical Skills Communication, written & Verbal People Skills Database management Powerpoint, Excel, & Word Advamce Planning - Short to medium term Optimization & Design Additional Qualifications: Rock Breaking Certifcate (Blasting Ticket) Competency A Legal Liability
