To assist the General Manager with management and control of the mining operations Duties: § Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies § Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize production and minimize costs § Assist in ensuring effective utilization of resources, including equipment, labour and materials § Assist in monitoring key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas of improvement § Collaborate with stakeholders, key suppliers and service providers § Assist in preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management on operational performance and strategic initiatives § § § BSc Degree in Mining Engineering § Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency § 10 Years underground mining experience – Conventional and board and pillar mining § Computer Literate § Blasting Ticket § Strong knowledge of mining operations and regulations
