Reference: NCM001637-TS-1 4 Month contract role with top tier financial services entity requires the services of a skilled Compliance Monitoring Analyst with a focus on F AIS, Banks Act, Data Privacy and Garnishee orders. The purpose of the role: The Monitoring Analyst proactively identifies, assesses, reports and mitigates compliance risks across the bank. The incumbent enforces and upholds Bank's compliance standards. The Monitoring Analyst also participates in activities that drives a strong culture of compliance and internal control. 4 Month contract role with top tier financial services entity requires the services of a skilled Compliance Monitoring Analyst with a focus on FAIS, Banks Act, Data Privacy and Garnishee orders. Job Purpose The Monitoring Analyst proactively identifies, assesses, reports and mitigates compliance risks across the bank. The incumbent enforces and upholds Bank's compliance standards. The Monitoring Analyst also participates in activities that drives a strong culture of compliance and internal control. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Manages compliance monitoring which include personal account dealing, gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest and political donations. Produces reports for senior management on compliance monitoring findings. Report writing and consolidation skills in respect of key internal to Bank committees, from a Regulatory Compliance perspective. Supports the development of key compliance policies and standard operating procedures. Identifies training and educational needs regarding compliance practices and make recommendations and develop training content. Supports the implementation of the Compliance Risk Management Framework, and implementation of the Compliance Risk Management Plans and control gap analysis. Has an ability to advise on the establishment of effective Compliance frameworks, structures and core processes and the establishment and embedment of the same in relation to the core systems and platforms of the proposed Banking business. Supports the Senior Manager: Regulatory Compliance Monitoring, with Regulator and Audit reviews and oversees compliance actions. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree that includes legal, compliance and governance. Exposure to the financial/regulatory sector Technical Skills Compliance concepts Highly organized and methodical with close attention to detail Regulatory risk in the financial sector would be advantageous R 500 - R 750 - Hourly
