THINK is on the hunt for dedicated Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Managers to be based in Bloemfontein and Louis Trichardt respectively. The M&E Manager will play a pivotal role in systematically collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to assess programmatic performance and impact, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and facilitating informed decision-making for continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Work closely with senior management to define M&E frameworks, aligning strategies and priorities with overarching organisational goals. Facilitate sessions for strategy formulation and ensure its translation into actionable M&E plans. Champion the end-to-end management of data, from collection and validation to analysis. Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and provides clear insights that inform strategic decisions. Systematically monitor and review all programs against their key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets to ensure desired outcomes are achieved and identify areas of improvement. Lead evaluations that measure project impacts and outcomes, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Use insights drawn to make data-driven recommendations for future strategy and project design. Develop and roll out comprehensive M&E training modules for staff. Foster a culture of continuous learning and ensure that the M&E team stays abreast of the latest methodologies. Take charge of crafting detailed M&E reports, tailored to both internal stakeholders and external donors, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with set requirements. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their M&E-related needs are met. Facilitate regular feedback sessions and maintain open channels of communication. Drive quality assurance processes for data management, ensuring that data is reliable, accurate, and vetted. Implement standard checks and validation techniques to uphold data integrity. Act as the M&E liaison between district level programme data teams and provincial DOH program Continuously assess and enhance M&E systems and processes, incorporating the latest industry best practices, tools, and technologies. Ensure THINK vision, mission and values are reflected in all job outcomes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, or Development Studies. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within public health or similar. Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems from project initiation to closeout stages. Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies and experience in statistical analysis. Proficiency in data management software such as SPSS, R, or STATA. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal English skills. Previous experience in an NGO environment. Familiarity with donor-specific M&E requirements.
