Elegant Cornicing is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service, driving sales operations, and achieving ambitious targets. You will be instrumental in nurturing customer relationships, understanding market trends, and strategically steering the sales department towards success. Sales Targets: Take full responsibility for and surpass annual sales targets. Formulate strategies to achieve these objectives, evaluate costs and market competition, and determine the most effective selling prices. Strategic Planning: Devise and execute plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Forecast sales, develop sales quotas, and prepare detailed sales reports. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. Understand and cater to customer business needs, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction. Team Leadership: Recruit and train high-quality sales representatives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive the adoption of sales and marketing automation platforms. Administrative Excellence: Oversee administrative tasks such as managing overdue accounts, signing off expenses, and handling credit applications and orders. Experience & Qualification: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in sales management and exceeding targets. Previous leadership experience in a sales environment. Previous sales experience in the hardware industry would be benificial. (selling to hardware stores) Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to influence at all organisational levels and drive the sales process from planning to closure. Expertise in positioning products against competitors and developing client-focused solutions. Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking. Experience in coaching sales teams and building relationships Annual Salary: A competitive salary range of R480,000 to R600,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Allowances: Annual salary includes a cellphone and car allowance, ensuring you have the tools you need for success. Fuel Card: A company-provided fuel card, capped at R5,000 per month, to cover business-related travel expenses.
