Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Groenkloof

Salary: R14 000 - R15 000

Closing date: End May 2024

We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Assistant for our Client to join their team in Groenkloof.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with real estate agents, sellers, and buyers to facilitate communications and ensure active pipelines.
  • Maintain professional and polished interactions with affluent and professional individuals via phone and email.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing communications to support sales activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination and follow-up on client inquiries.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering new supplies as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and petty cash management.
  • Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Help with general administrative tasks as required by office management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Office Assistant or Secretary is a plus.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an Office Assistant, Receptionist, or Administrative Assistant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Professional demeanor with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with real estate agents, sellers, and buyers to maintain active pipelines.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact confidently with affluent and professional individuals.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role or real estate industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines).
