Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging Leader - Gauteng The successful candidate must: Be willing to embark on extensive travel on an international basis; Have excellent proven sales skills in the Healthcare Sales arena, with at least 5 years' experience; Experience on a similar range of Medical Devices as supplied by GE Healthcare and/or Elekta; Be able to build effective relationships with key decision makers; Have strong leadership skills as well as managerial skills; Have a strong business acumen; Have very good communication skills with the ability to motivate teams; Be computer literate (Excel, Internet, Word, and PowerPoint); Be capable of developing & presenting Clinical & Commercial presentations & argumentation to support product sales; Be capable of developing & presenting financial & sales argumentation on a Healthcare Project Basis; Be capable of looking for growth opportunities in the adjacent markets to grow the portfolio; Be strongly familiar with Public & Private Tender Processes; Be assertive and able to deal with sales and marketing personnel; Have the ability to work under pressure and still maintain high standards; Be a self-starter, deadline and results oriented. The Core responsibilities will be: Ensuring good Financial Performance of the Division, i.e. ensuring that sales targets and margins are achieved; Sales Management of the full range of Products; Ensuring sound Administration of Sales practices & processes; including developing new processes; Visiting key decision-makers in the Ministries of Health, Private Healthcare sector including financial and clinical departments; Liaising & coordinating with Medhold Sales & Service Managers; & complimentary Suppliers; Coaching, managing & leveraging relationships with various sub-distributors; Maintaining excellent relationships with all customers, especially Key Accounts in the State and Private Sectors; Hiring & Managing Employees; Staff Development; Time management; Developing a positive labour climate in area of responsibility; Managing remote sales teams; Handling Discipline and Grievances procedures where applicable.
