As a leading provider in the mining machinery industry, we're on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Operations Administrator to join us. This position is located in Rustenburg, thus we're specifically seeking candidates from this area for the optimal fit. Your primary role will involve overseeing and organizing our technicians while handling administrative duties, ensuring seamless communication with our Johannesburg Head Office. • Oversee all technicians, managing administrative tasks and reporting. • Develop and execute daily work plans, ensuring adherence to timelines. • Strategize and coordinate services, maintenance, and breakdowns, including diligent follow-ups. • Manage end-to-end processes for outstanding jobs, with thorough reporting and result control. • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for technical staff, focusing on skill development. • Conduct site visits, maintain client relations, and monitor client WhatsApp groups. • Handle end-to-end processes for in-house and site stock management. • Maintain availability for after-hours and weekend work as needed. • Follow up on parts procurement, ensuring timely scheduling. • Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on all new machines received at GHM site. • Conduct PDIs on all breakdown machines, managing necessary parts for repair. • Accommodate ad-hoc requests efficiently. • Rustenburg-based candidates only. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. • Proficient in Microsoft programs and software. • Capable of thriving under pressure, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a positive demeanor while delivering top-notch customer service. • Robust technical expertise, with proficiency in servicing earthmoving equipment, including SKT's (wide body trucks), RDT's, ADT's, excavators, and roadheaders. • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, completing tasks within given parameters, prescribed routines, and industry standards. • Minimum requirement of Matric or relevant technical certificate/diploma; associate degree preferred. • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar field working with comparable machinery. • Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with local mining standards safely and effectively. • Possession of a valid driver's license.
