Our client requires the services of an Operations Engineer (Advanced) - Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation. COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible ROLE: Application support for Application owners, including governance adherence. Ensuring that applications are compliant, secure, and operational, using tools such as CMDB, Active Directory, VMWare. Provide VM0 Application support to all GROUP markets, globally. Ticket and change request creation to service groups responsible to action the request or requirement. Manage requests raised by users either telephonically or via email. Support Applications that cover a vast landscape - from hardware, to software, to business or department-specific applications incl. “Critical Applications” with a high Business impact. IT Service Desk, hardware configuration and technical support. Fluent German-speaking, including Business reading and writing. Fluent English-speaking, including Business reading and writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems local and remote administration and Microsoft Office applications. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot potential solutions. Data analytics and trend analysis Presentation skills Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter ADVANTAGEOUS TECHNICAL SKILLS Technical back-end Application configuration knowledge beneficial to understand functionality of servers, databases, device patching, license management. Knowledge of GROUP processes and tools beneficial.
