RPO Recruitment's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join their team as an Operations Support and Quality Control professional. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall operations of our client's organization and ensuring the highest level of quality control. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize processes, analyze data, and implement improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Responsibilities Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the production of the company's products Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production Scheduling production and workers to provide the proper coverage Watching costs to ensure the production process stays within budget Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management Handling production disruptions and productivity problems Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs Using market forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changes Ensure all raw materials meet specifications, are cost-efficient, and the supply is consistent Troubleshoot problems and direct continuous improvement across the site on all operational fronts Hands-on maintenance ability and be able to identify where the equipment is failing and be able to do basic maintenance. Setting up and running a preventative maintenance schedule Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Degree/Diploma in Production/Supply Chain Minimum 5 years experience in operations support and quality control preferred Has worked with quality control previously or has QC training.
