Reference: CPT000457-CB-1 We have a position for a skilled Technician to assist on the operations side. Experience with Bystronic machines beneficial. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Reliable transport / own car Suitable tertiary qualification More than 2 years experience in a similar role Able to work shifts and overtime Duties and Responsibilities: Check machinery readings and send to your manager on a weekly basis Perform routine & preventative maintenance on all machinery Manage the maintenance board and keep it updated at all times Managing the general maintenance on ALL machinery, vehicles & handheld devices on premises and ad hoc repairs in & around the building Ensuring that the machines or vehicles are serviced at the correct intervals Minor installations Logging call outs for machinery breakdowns as soon as they happen Checking the functionality of safety equipment Gas & air leaks to be monitored Daily “housekeeping” Doing a stock take of all machinery/vehicle parts that we keep in stock once a month Liaising with suppliers or technicians Following up on quotes Logging of ALL incidents on tracker Ensuring job cards have been completed correctly Responding to emergency breakdowns after hours (if needed) Completing Non-Conformances timeously Comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
