Our client in the Manufacturing Industry, requires the services an Order Picker to join their team. Key performance areas: Assist with other warehouse activities as required. Monitor picking duration and accuracy, and picklist traceability. Loading and off-loading of trucks and containers. Accurate picking and packing of orders. Receive stock into warehouse and store in dedicated locations. Assist with writing waybills when needed. Manage time, attendance and discipline of team. Participate in operation excellence and continuous improvement activities. Assist with regular stock counts. Assist customers with collections. Communicate and investigate stock and picking discrepancies. Participate in HSE activities, housekeeping and pro-active reporting. Prepare parcels for after hour collection at security. The successful candidate must have: Matric or equivalent qualification At least 3 years' experience in a Dispatch or Warehouse environment At least 3 years' experience digital picking and bin location Technical assembly experience will be advantageous Valid forklift license with experience of driving will be advantageous Must have excellent numeracy skills Must be able to do labour intensive work Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel) Must be able to work independently and within a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Please note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.
