JOB OPPORTUNITY: OVERHEAD TRACK EQUIPMENT ERECTORS

AREA: PRETORIA; GAUTENG

SUMMARY:

Rendering the skillful and quality installation, adjustment, repair and maintenance of Electrical Overhead Track structures and related functions in compliance with Health and Safety and related legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Grade 12
2 years’ experience in the rail sector
C-Green
Working at heights
First Aid
Fire Fighting
Completed Basic training in hand tools

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Erector’s duties and responsibilities may vary and be reviewed from time to time given the Company’s operational requirements and shall include the following, but not limited thereto.
Basic knowledge of plant, equipment and materials used for construction activities.
Good knowledge of the companies H&S protocols to ensure safe execution of the works.
Installation and adjustment of Electrical Overhead Track structures.
Experience in repair and maintenance of Electrical Overhead Track structures.
