Payroll Administrator - East London

Minimum Requirements / Experience:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Payroll Clerk / Payroll Administrator
  • Minimum payroll headcount of ± 350 employees
  • VIP Payroll experience compulsory

Responsibilities:

  • Creating/Disabling of employee accounts.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of our Time and Attendance system/machines
  • Correcting Timesheets
  • Process all leave types on Time and Attendance system
  • Approve all Overtime based on signed approval documents
  • All Payroll input (Earning and Deductions)
  • Printing and distributing of pay slips
  • Handling of all queries and corrections
  • Responsible for payroll reconciliations
  • Responsible for monthly journals and provisions
  • Termination payments and employee terminations management
  • Managing Employment Equity and Skills Development Modules on VIP Premier
  • Company liaison with MIBCO, submitting Sick Leave applications
