Our client a global leader in the import, export and distribution of frozen products is urgently looking for the expertise of a Personal Assistant who will report directly to the Seafood Category Manager . Experience in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Daily monitoring of stock arrivals, delivery of containers to cold stores and stock levels, both sold and unsold. Monitoring of load outs of instore stock. Daily monitoring of NRCS requests and releases. Assisting the Procurement Admin Department with information regarding Purchase Orders and requisitions requests. Aiding in information gathering when setting up new suppliers and maintain the data. Tracking open / closed FOREX deals. Sending the requests to Sales Processing for creation of sales orders and releases. Attending to seafood queries, stock queries and mis allocation of stocks. Assist with requisition of all requests pertaining to amendments and swop outs where required. Internal sales promotion of in-store small stock quantities or information provided by Category Manager. Assistance with Seafood Category Manager communication internally and externally while travelling. Tend to select administrative duties of the Seafood Category Manager. Assist with documents for exports. Aiding Sales Executives with information. Market research. Maintain monthly statistics. Yearly import and export permit applications from ITAC and DFFE. Working on Syspro, Outlook, Expedite and Excel and ensuring relevant emails are actioned. All and any other related tasks & duties as expected from the employer from time to time. General: To undertake any other duties as requested by the Director, commensurate with the skills and experience of the post holder. To have responsibility for the Health, Safety and Welfare of self and others and to comply always with the requirement of the Health and Safety Regulations. To ensure confidentiality always, only releasing confidential information obtained during employment to those acting in an official capacity. To comply with Policies. To undertake such duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the position and the needs of the service. Matric. Tertiary qualification advantageous. Computer literate (Microsoft package). Administrative experience advantageous. Soft Skills: Positive attitude. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently while being a team player.
