Description REQUIREMENTS National Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering (excluding heavy current) or Information Technology/ Computer Science or Bachelor in Mechatronics Minimum of 2 years experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, C#, C++, VB) ESSENTIAL SKILLS Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root-cause problems Ability and willingness to contribute innovative solutions and ideas Capable of effectively and efficiently communicating topics to the target audience (including management) by compiling and presenting presentations/ analysis Able to work well under pressure and make sound decisions Computer literate in MS Office (i.e. Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) Experience with Macro/ VBA in Excel Have sound organization and project management skills Have the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams with other engineers RESPONSIBILITIES Establishing root causes and implementing corrective actions for allocated problems Resolve invalid electronic control unit versions (i.e. part number, software level, hardware level and data containers) using various group systems and internal IT tools Evaluate and test new version releases on the production line for both series and pre-series vehicles Implement and manage the configuration of vehicle projects within the group system Coordination of a cross-departmental team within the company, focusing on the evaluation and resolution of vehicle electronic version topics Liaising with overseas counterparts about version management topics Forecast potential version risk or flash action (i.e. software updates) by interpreting data sources from multiple systems using advanced workbooks/ IT tools (e.g. Macros/ VBA)
