Work closely with the CEO/EXCO to maintain a positive and professional environment, ensuring that each department performs its rudimentary functions at a high level of quality while tracking the firm's strategic objectives. Be responsible for the overall management and oversight of the legal business services departments. This may include developing and implementing policies, procedures and standards governing the department's operations, monitoring and evaluating the department's performance, and resolving any conflicts or complaints. Ensure compliance with the financial regulations. Develop and monitor the practive budget per team. Oversee te billing and collections process. HR: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluation processes for legal staff with the HR team. Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the firm, such as office management, facilities and technology. Oversee administrative function to ensure they meet their oblibations. Client relations: Maintain and enhance client relationships. Risk & Compliance: Drive implementation of the clients policies & procedures to ensure the firm's compliance with all the relevant laws, regulations & ethical standards. Identify & mitigate potential risks to the firm such as legal malpractive risks or cybersecurity threats. Marketing & Business Development: Monitor and measure the marketing & business development team's success in attracting new clients to the the clients data base. Management: Collaborate with Snr management to identify & mitigate operational risks that could impact the company's performance. Lead cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation w.r.t the company's procesesses. Trach, monitor & update projects. Organisational Development: Identify opportunities for cost saving & revenue enhancements. Spot & identify / ameliorate weaknesses within the company. Bcom or similar. MUST be Saipa registered. >8yrs corporate management experience >8yrs in a Professional Services firm >5yrs as a unit / department / divisional manager Package will be discuss with shortlisted candidates.
