Understands and respects cultural differences and their impact on performance and communication. Provides ongoing feedback to the Supply Chain Manager regarding supply efficiency and order progress. Evaluates progress against the plan, offering solutions to any issues that arise. Manages safety stock with suppliers to optimize cash flow and minimize order changes. Motivates and oversees the team's performance using a consistent performance management system. Reports adherence to plan, particularly focusing on On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) metrics. Assists the Vendor Management team with underperforming supplier issues. Manages supplier relationships considering quality, delivery, and technology factors. Constantly evaluates ways to improve the purchasing process within budget constraints. Actively seeks opportunities to save costs on incoming raw materials and packaging. A related degree is essential CIPS advantageous 3 years experience in manufacturing
