They are market-driven and internationally competitive, with strategic international alliances. They strive to comply with all recognized international standards. Supplier management and sourcing. Maintain supplier integrity and transparency while supervising procurement staff. Actively participate in vendor approval and identify efficiency opportunities. Facilitate cross-functional communication, implement supplier improvements, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Manage item master and coding for accurate expense allocation. Tenders: Compile tender documents and contracts. Evaluate tenders and recommend selections. Coordinate tender adjudication process. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers. Key Material Trend Analysis: Maintain and update material standards. Supplier Evaluations: Assist in resolving supplier problems. Review and compile supplier performance reports. Identify improvement opportunities. Develop strategic supplier relationships. Financial Control: Initiate procurement department requests. Participate in the audit process. Adhere to financial policies and procedures. Protect company assets and prevent fraud. Monitor and control consumables working capital. Policies and Procedures: Maintain procurement policies and procedures. Ensure implementation and compliance. Customer and Supplier Relations: Maintain and improve relationships with customers and suppliers. Monitor vendor performance and compliance. Matric/N3 Certificate. National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field / CIPS Level 4. Additional: BCOM in Supply Chain Management or CIPS Level 5. Minimum 5 years experience.
