A major played in the staffing industry is seeking a proactive and dedicated Product Owner to join our dynamic product management team. Reporting directly to the Product Manager, the Product Owner will play a key role in defining the vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver value to our customers through high-quality product features and enhancements. The ideal candidate is someone deeply customer-focused, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and skilled at translating business needs into technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team always works on high-impact projects that align with the product strategy and vision. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, including customers, business managers, and the Product Manager, to gather and refine requirements. Sprint Planning: Work closely with Scrum Masters and development teams to plan sprints, define sprint goals, and ensure timely delivery of product increments. Requirement Specification: Clearly define and communicate product requirements to the development team, ensuring that user stories and acceptance criteria are well understood. Market and Customer Research: Conduct continuous market and customer research to stay informed about customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of work, ensuring that the product goals are achieved and communicating any changes in priorities to the team. Feedback Loop Management: Facilitate the feedback loop, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and customers into the product backlog to continuously improve the product. Agile Advocacy: Champion Agile best practices and methodologies within the team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and iteration. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or a similar role in product management, preferably in a technology-focused company. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience working in Agile teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail and delivering results. Deep customer empathy and experience with market research to understand customer needs and market dynamics. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficient in tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar for backlog and project management. Preferred Skills: Certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile product management certification. Experience in the specific industry domain relevant to the product. Technical background, with an understanding of software development processes and technologies. Market related - Depending on skills & experience
