Our client in the Tobacco industry is looking for a French speaking Production Manager to join their team in Madagascar. Manage daily production operations Commitment to operational efficiency and productivity, with a focus on continuous improvement of production processes. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changes to meet production needs. Provide leadership and motivation to production team. Ensure effective communication (in English and French) between different departments. Handle emergency situations and find effective solutions in a timely manner. University degree in engineering, production management or a related field. Additional training or certification in industrial maintenance or operations management is an asset. At least 5 years of experience managing production operations, ideally in the tobacco industry or a related sector. Hands-on experience supervising automated production lines, including managing work teams and resolving technical issues. Ability to adapt to a different cultural and professional environment, particularly in Africa. Technical skills : In-depth knowledge of machines and equipment used in cigarette manufacturing, including automated machines, confectioners and packaging lines. Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, as well as diagnose and resolve faults quickly and efficiently. Understanding of quality standards and good manufacturing practices specific to the tobacco industry.
