As a preferred supplier to one of our blue-chip, retail, corporate clients based in the CBD, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Programme Manager, on an initial 12 month contract, to manage and execute a multi-year programme of strategic and operational online initiatives, from the opportunity phase to the implementation and review phases. The ideal applicant for this role will have an astute business mind, possessing a solid track record of delivering programme initiatives while converting strategy into action. They will be a capable leader who can effectively engage with key stakeholders, assign tasks, and work with others to accomplish achievement. OVERVIEW Lead and co-ordinate multiple project teams with both internal and external resources to ensure the programme's objectives are met Create, execute, and maintain the Online Fulfillment Programme to fulfil organisational objectives, keeping senior stakeholders informed and in alignment Oversee the programme as a whole ensuring it is completed on schedule, within budget, and with the expected results Along with the designated Project Manager, ensure that each project in the programme is successfully integrated into the operational environment, recognising and mitigating systemic risks Create and implement program procedures for determining success and suggesting enhancements KEY OUTPUTS Plan and implement new initiatives in close collaboration with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams, project managers, and the new business development team Ensure that all new initiatives are coordinated in terms of time, budget, and resource needs to ensure a smooth programme delivery Create and oversee the programme budget in collaboration with stakeholders to meet the business objectives Determine the essential programme needs that must be met by cross-functional teams and outside suppliers Recognise risks and opportunities across numerous projects within the business area in collaboration with other programme and project managers Manage key stakeholders' expectations about programme execution by understanding them and providing feedback and reporting Bachelor's Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification, and/or relevant industry qualifications 5 years in a management role (preference given to those with programme management and/or PMO management experience), along with a track record of working through others to deliver complex and interdependent initiatives Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisational skills Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders Preference for experience working in Retail and/or a Digital / Online / E-Commerce environment Proven track of implementing significant changes in a national operational environment Apply Now
